Unfortunately for us but fortunately for her, Catherine Tripp, our previously scheduled director, had to leave us for the greener pastures of regularly paid employment, of a late-working-hours variety which conflicted with rehearsing the show. It's a tough economy, folks. Catherine's help was invaluable in getting the production process up and running, and we are sorry to see her have to go.
Fortunately, we have a wonderful new director: Gwen Grastorf! Gwen sat in on the auditions, and is ready to jump in to rehearsals with us.
Gwen will be assisted by Lynette Yorgey Winslow.
More production and design team announcements to come soon. Not to mention - stay tuned, because in the next couple days we will announce the cast for The Water Plays!

Audition Announcement
Auditions for Fringe Show
Auditions for a world premiere Fringe show, "The Water Plays," written by Brett Steven Abelman. "The Water Plays" are three plays that take place in, on, or under the water. Actors are not, however, required to get wet.
We are seeking all ages (18+) and types. We have major roles for younger actors and for older actors.
Auditions to be held in the 2nd floor large meeting room at Cleveland Park Library, 9:30 am-12:30pm, Saturday May 8th. The Library is easy accessible from Cleveland Park Metro on the Red Line; there is some street parking nearby. Callbacks to be determined.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Please bring a headshot and resume.
To reserve a slot, email thewaterplays@gmail.com with top three preferred time slots; audition slots are in 15-minute increments. Make "Audition" the subject of your email. Walk-ins welcome, but priority given to reserved auditioners.
